Lady of Grace Aged Care is a high care facility and enables Residents to age in place. People who may require high care would include anyone who cannot perform activities of daily living on their own due to physical or cognitive disabilities. This would include those who have conditions such as:
- Dementia
- Stroke
- Incontinence
- Arthritis
- Sensory deficits due to the ageing process.
Prior to admission to any aged care facility, an ACAT assessment is required to determine eligibility for high care.
A resident who is receiving high care, is also receiving: accommodation, laundry, meals, assistance with activities of daily living (e.g. dressing, showering, feeding or mobilising), social activities, support for people with cognitive impairment, cleaning services, toiletry goods, waste disposal, mobility equipment and rehabilitation support.
At Lady of Grace our staff are trained and competent in providing care and service delivery to Residents with a range of health conditions, and will partner with our Residents to ensure they receive a quality experience, in line with best practice.
